The benefit from not having to host the video on my blog or website is that is does not drag down my bandwidth from people watching it and I do not have to download it than re upload it to my server.

Lots of great videos out there on YouTube and other various video sharing websites if you get a chance try adding a few to your blog or website the next time you upload some content or do a blog post!
